Mise en bouche du matin, un superbe panorama sur la chaine des Pyrénées pour une introduction nature sur la géologie et la lecture de paysage.
Chaine hercynienne, plissements, failles, tectonique des plaques...nous savons TOUT maintenant !
Ensuite une découverte de quelques roches et minéraux, ci-contre une cristallisation de la calcite en gros cristaux.

Puis, moment inoubliable: le pique-nique ! il n'y aura pas de photos, un tel déballage gastronomico-gargantuesque étant insoutenable.
L'après-midi découverte de l'atelier d'un artisan bijoutier-joaillier à Salies de Béarn, "Quidnovi"
et la fabrication d'une bague en argent selon la technique à l'os de seiche.
Quelques outils traditionnels..
pour la suite nous voyons le sciage de l'os de seiche, mise en place du modèle de bague à reproduire, fonte des grains d'argent coulage et résultat final !
Rien de bien compliqué en somme, heureusement que l'os n'est pas celui d'une baleine...
